Junior School

Years  K - 6

Holistic Learning

In Junior School, holistic learning is our focus for students who have moderate intellectual delay or Autism Spectrum Disorder. Our uniquely designed educational plans help unlock your child’s potential academically, socially, physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

Breakout Spaces

Does your child occasionally need some time out? Every child has unique needs. Our specially constructed breakout spaces attached to every classroom provide a safe space for your child to have supervised quiet time if they are experiencing sensory overload or alternatively to help stimulate the senses for engaged learning.

Small Class Sizes

Our small class sizes are designed to provide personalised attention for your child. Our dedicated teachers and support staff provide comprehensive care to ensure each student receives the support they need.

Inclusive Education

Our educational model is all-inclusive. Your child can flourish when they know they belong. Students also have the opportunity to connect into the broader school community with Pacific Hills Christian School including cultural events, athletics days, and combined chapel services and assemblies.

But Jesus called them to him, saying, “Let the children come to me, and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God.”

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I come and visit the School?

Yes, our school conducts a number of Open Days during the school year. It would be our pleasure to welcome your family to a New Hope Open Day where you can participate in an onsite tour of our purpose-built facility. Experience our school first-hand, gaining insight into our learning community and see how we can support the learning needs of your child. School tours are also offered.

Do we have to be Christians to enrol?

No. New Hope welcomes families of varied backgrounds and faith to enrol their children. However, all families with children enrolled at New Hope are required to support and respect the Christian beliefs and values. New Hope is required to deliver all teaching in alignment with the New South Wales Education Standards Authority (NESA) guidelines. As a distinctly Christian school, the curriculum is taught from a Biblical perspective and framed by the Christian worldview.

What Co-curricular options are available?

We have a structured co-curricular program for our students to enjoy. Whilst there are some activities that have limited opportunities for extra-curricular activities that are dependent on the independence level of the students, we are committed to providing a program that will enhance the learning of our students.
