Newsletter 2019 Term 4 Week 2

Some additional information regarding camp has gone home in bags today. This includes what to bring and an outline of the camp program. We look forward to a wonderful time away with the students.

Smoothie Fundraiser
This term, NHS are holding our Smoothie Fundraiser. Milkshakes and Smoothies have been made to order by some of our senior students. We have also sold Krispy Kreme doughnuts. Over the last two weeks we have sold over 200 drinks and 300 doughnuts to staff and students at PHCS and NHS. This has been a very successful start. The students are learning excellent skills in working together as a team, money skills and food preparation and handling.
Next week, the Smoothies, Milkshakes and Doughnuts will be available for purchase on Wednesday and Friday. Smoothies ($4.50) are available in Mango, Banana, Mango+Banana, Strawberry+Banana or Mixed Berry. Milkshakes ($4.50) are available in Chocolate or Caramel or Strawberry. Doughnuts are $3.

Parent Info Session: PHCS Masterplan and New Hope School Building Plans
Parents and friends of Pacific Hills Christian School and New Hope School are invited to a meeting which will outline the site Masterplan and proposed new development for New Hope School.
This informative and casual evening will be held in the Staff Common Room (entry near canteen) on Wednesday 30 October. The evening will commence with light refreshments at 6.30pm. This will be followed by a presentation of the proposed plans and an opportunity to ask questions.
It would be wonderful to have a large number of parents attend this meeting to hear of our future plans.

Carols Night
On Monday 2 December, the PHCS and NHS communities come together to celebrate this wonderful time of year. We invite you and your family to come and enjoy the entertainment and singing. There will be food stalls and performances from many students and staff. More information will be communicated in the coming weeks.

Summer Uniform
Please remember that Term 4 requires the wearing of the School’s summer uniform. This includes the wearing of the school hat during recess, lunch and sport lessons. Please also check that your child’s uniform fits well and that their name is clearly marked in all uniform items so they can easily be returned if lost. Hannah’s (Uniform Shop) is open each Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday in Term 4.
