Principal's Message
2019 has been a wonderful year of learning and working together for the benefit of a special group of students that are the members of the community of New Hope School. I have been delighted to observe the wonderful encouragement of parents, staff and students. There is a wonderful sense of community and an acceptance and care of one another that is a wonderful thing to see.
As we celebrate the graduation of four of our students after the completion of their studies at New Hope School, we are thankful for each one of them and we entrust them to God’s care for the future.
We are also extremely thankful for the staff both the teaching and non-teaching staff under the excellent leadership of Director, Mrs Dianne Dowson and Assistant Director, Mr Nathan Francis.
As we look towards the 2020 School year, we are anticipating several new enrolments so that the School will be full to capacity to serve at this time. Then we look forward to the plans of the new buildings for the School and the excitement that comes with that stage of our journey as a Christian School community.
We thank God for New Hope School and the relationship that exits between that School and Pacific Hills Christian School. We are looking forward to seeing the School grow as a community and as we have fellowship with parents, staff and students together.

Directors Report
Camp forms, including a Medical Form, have been placed in bags today. Absent students will receive theirs in the mail. These forms need to be returned by Friday 18 October which is the first week back next term. If you have any questions regarding camp, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Operation Christmas Child
Thank you to the many families who contributed to Samaritan’s Purse Operation Christmas Child. We filled 24 boxes which will be collected from the school early next term.

Year 12
This year we have four students completing their Year 12 studies. This week we have farewelled two, Daniel and Andrew with Joshni and Nathaniel continuing with us during Term 4. I am sure they leave with many fond memories. We wish them well as they transition to life beyond school. Joshni was also honoured at the Year 12 Pacific Hills and New Hope School Graduation Assembly on Thursday. The students received their portfolios and a Bible as a gift from the school. After the Assembly the students walked through the Guard of Honour, which is formed by all the students in the school. This is a long time tradition of the school and a wonderful way to congratulate and farewell the students.
We pray for each of the Year 12 students and their families as they consider the best options and make decisions about further training, support and employment.
We are thankful for the part the students have played in our school community and we look forward to seeing them again for our Certificate Assembly in November.

End of Term
As we begin this holiday break I pray that each family will find time to relax and enjoy time together and for safe travels. May each of you experience God’s goodness and see Him in His wonderful creation. School resumes on Tuesday 15 October.
